During the latter parts of a long day -- read as late evening -- Willy Mason, Nina Violet, Ross Holmes and Matt Menefee pulled their bones into the Troy High School auditorium to perform his own song, "I Got Gold," and three absolute beauties written but never recorded decades ago by his parents, Jemima James and Michael Mason.
