Liner Notes

The way that this band of teenagers from Lititz, Pennsylvania, makes music should never be messed with. There's no telling how they got SO good SO young, but they did it. There's no telling how the weariness and shaky wisdom of life has set into them already, like a four seasons room, but it has. They've come to already recognize the turbulence that sends shudders through all of us at some point. They're not concerned with monsters or boy-girl jitters, but rather something that has a lot more nuance and calculus to it. They're dealing with catching hell from hell's favorite angles. They're feeling the drag on the line and they're pulling on it, with what they have been believing heartily could be their catch, knowing that it's likely just weeds and rocks. They remind us of all the incidentals that we take for granted. We just let them wash over us, but they're moving parts and they will leave impressions the way that time and pressure tend to do. These songs glow out of fear, tingles down the spine and an overcast that takes us as an adoptive son. The rains and the blooms will be ours someday.
