Liner Notes

This phone interview, recorded with Scott Muni for the World of Rock radio show, was aired in support of Roger McGuinn's upcoming autobiography, A Byrd's Eye View. As a result, the discussion starts biographically with his earliest years as a musician, including his time with the Limeliters and Bobby Darin. McGuinn was also quite busy musically in 1989, resulting in conversation about a reunion with the Byrds as well as session work with Elvis Costello, Crosby & Nash, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. It's a cut-and-dry interview from a true professional.
