The Tea Party, Boston's premiere psychedelic club, broke virtually every English rock act of the late '60s in America and featured the era's best local acts, including Peter Wolf's The Hallucinations (before he went on to fame with the J. Geils Band). The Tea Party closed in the early 1970s.
