The Wallflowers are fronted by an uber-famous rock offspring. Singer, guitarist, songwriter and son of Bob Dylan, Jakob Dylan's band the Wallflowers has its own special flair. Although Dylan's roughed-up looks channel his father, the Wallflowers' easy alternative sound is more Bruce (Springsteen) than Bob. The Wallflowers' 1996 album Bringing Down the Horse proved to be anything but a flop and produced a string of radio hits and Grammy Awards for the roots-rock group. The Wallflowers' rush of success in the late '90s built them a fan base, cushioning the group for success with future albums into a new millennium.
