Siouxsie & the Banshees

The nocturnal rockers Siouxsie and the Banshees were formed to fill an empty space at the first international punk rock festival in 1976 at the 100 Club in London. The band originally featured punk icon Sid Vicious, who went on to join the Sex Pistols. Through the years, the Banshees lineup has taken on a few changes, but lead vocalist Siouxsie Sioux has remained a constant. Sioux is easily the band's greatest asset, and her gothic punk presence is of legendary proportions.
