Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow is a mainstream rock star who actually has some credentials hanging on her wall. More than a garage-band dabbler, Crow majored in music at U. Missouri and taught music to elementary-age students before the siren-song of performance artist lured her to L.A. [Musical] association with Michael Jackson, songwriting talent strong enough to be noted by Celine Dion and Eric Clapton among others and stints as session vocalist led to The Tuesday Night Music Club, her connection with a group of music pro's which also became the name of her successful 1993 album. Affiliations and feelings change however, and Crow went out on her own with 'Sheryl Crow' in 1996, followed by tours, Grammy's and songwriting flights that confirm her as a once and future star.
