The 1968 Flight to Lowlands' Paradise was the second time this festival was held in Utrecht, Amsterdam. It was supposed to happen a month earlier, but the promoters postponed it until December in order to persuade Jimi Hendrix to play. Hendrix didn't play, but Pink Floyd stepped into the headlining spot for the sold out concert.
