Bryan Simpson, the man behind The Whistles & The Bells, makes us feel like hope is a shadow. It can be seen, but it's hardly anything that we can wrap our arms around. It's lurking and we feel that others might have a better shot at getting to it, of coaxing it into the passenger's seat of the car.
