The Guess Who reunited for their celebrated 1983 "Together Again" tour in 1983, 13 years after they went their separate ways. This brief tour finally reunited the original quartet lineup that recorded the classic "American Woman" album in 1969. They wisely chose not to be augmented by any other musicians on this tour, so these rehearsals really are the quintessential lineup of this group playing together for the first time since the breakup in 1970.

This recording is a rehearsal that took place weeks before the tour kicked off. Almost all the key Guess Who hits are represented, as well as Randy's two Bachman-Turner Overdrive hits. It makes a strong case for the chemistry between these four musicians. Like all great bands, they were indeed far greater than the sum of their individual parts.
