Liner Notes

Little Barrie is a barrage of spit, fur and blood. It's only human in that choices are made, even if they're split second decisions that are thought through with the balls and the guts, with only a little help from the brains or heart. The decisions are usually handed down by the invisible light bulb. They couldn't have been planned because they never would have been made had they been the result of actual planning. These are the ideas that are later explained as sounding good at the time, as the participants in them stand on the banks of a river and watch their car sink until it's gone, or with someone wearing a cast and walking with the aid of crutches.

Little Barrie doesn't feel quite that dangerous, but they could get there if they wanted to. Lead singer and guitarist Barrie Cadogan, bassist/vocalist Lewis Wharton and drummer/vocalist Virgil Howe make a hard-charging blues rock stew that somehow makes you think that they're out there trying to steal wives and girlfriends from the weak and they're going to take them out to screw in a car somewhere, then go out drinking and cow-tipping later, as the moon smiles down on them.
