Liner Notes

"Solemn Feeling Forever Healing" is a song here that takes us - as most Levek songs do - directly to a hot springs, where the whole point of it is to help us wash away all the gunk that's been building up in us. It's to get us to soak and sweat out all of our impurities. It's to actually feel that the barnacles and the plagues that have attached to us, are being scraped away and we're going to get out of the waters with our pinkened skin and something that feels like peace of mind, something that feels like a difference, like we're going to be less jittery for a short period of time.

Our flesh will catch the cold breezes of air once we've emerged from the hot water and we'll reach for the towel, wrapping it around ourselves and suddenly, we'll realize that we're feeling a million times better than we did when we first went in. Those salts and that steam drained it all out of us.

David Levesque, the Orlando, Florida man behind Levek, favors these gentle coatings that feel like prisms or colorful drinks and balms. They are mostly the massages that we get implicitly from the energy of a setting sun - from the reds, the pinks and the thick oranges of the drowsy sky, as the orb drowns in the horizon.

You can't help but feel that these waters that he's got you in are the most pristine and comfortable waters that you've ever experienced in your life and you're able to get your head back to clear - a spring cleaning through some kind of magical elixir.
