Annie Lennox is a Scottish songwriter and performer born December 25, 1954. She is known as one of the founding members of Eurythmics, along with Dave Stewart. When Eurythmics split, Annie Lennox went on to a successful solo career, named one of Rolling Stones' 100 Greatest Singers of All Time. She is also a philanthropist and social activist.
