Abbie Hoffman

Yippie founder Abbie Hoffman was a political and social activist, who courted controversy all his life. He interrupted Woodstock in 1969, led anti-Viet Nam War demonstrators to the Pentagon, and moved a rally onto the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. He was born in Worcester, Massachussetts in 1936 and died in 1989.
