John Lennon and Yoko Ono came to signify the very essence of the 1960's-70s Peace Movement with songs such as "Give Peace a Chance." They staged a series of protests called "Bed-Ins," in which the famous couple stayed in bed in their New York hotel room for a week, inviting the world's press every day between 9am and 9pm, to talk about peace.
