This benefit concert featured a line-up of jazz greats that included singer/drummer/lyricist Jon Hendricks, called "the poet laureate of jazz" by one critic, and was MC'd by actor/activist, Garry Goodrow. The focus of the benefit, the Both/And jazz club, featured such jazz greats as Freddie Hubbard and George Braith and was still hanging on in 1973.
