It's been Kanye West's new record, "Yeezus," in the car all this week, driving to and from the studio, off to the grocery store, to get sandwiches -- wherever needs to be gotten to and with the unseasonably cooler July temperatures, the windows have been rolled down. Now, 'Ye gets raunchy super fast on this album and you find yourself keeping your eyes locked forward, thinking nothing of it as West saying, "I'd rather be a dick than a swallower," flows loudly out of your car and into the patiently waiting intersection. They're just words and they're just songs, but when you're idling, it gets a touch uncomfortable. When you get going again, it's fantastic entertainment -- to hear a grown man talk (no, EXPOUND on) pussy and come in such a complex and fascinated manner. He raps about such matters like a king would -- with so many conquests that he MUST talk about them. The details give it away that he knows exactly what he's talking about. What makes it all so great, however, is that when you're flooded by these unending visuals, it almost comes across as if it could be someone telling whopper after whopper. There's no WAY he has or considers such demonstrative sex as often as he makes out. They are the words of a dreamer.

Denver's Kitty Crimes is the poor man's female equivalent -- not to West -- but to the thoughts and the consciousness of "Yeezus." She's filthy and spectacular -- teaching us things we never knew about what all can be accomplished when two, three, four people get naked in the same room. She helps us to define what a "tongue cock" is. (We're assuming it's two words, but she might correct us.) Maria Kohler, as she's known behind the moniker, rhymes fluidly as she talks about fluids, just as West does and she unabashed. She raps, "If you've got a girlfriend, double-team me," and she makes it feel like something that could be offered in a normal circumstance. Nope, actually, it still sounds dirty and that's what makes it sound so great.
